Patricia Fieldwalker: Nobody Does It Better

Patricia Fieldwalker has been designing lingerie in Vancouver for over 20 years. Her luxury lingerie is famous locally and even more famous internationally. Her robes, chemises, bias gowns, kimono and caftan styles are divine. Nobody does classic silk lingerie better than Patricia Fieldwalker.

Patricia Fieldwalker has long been in the business of luxury lingerie. Fieldwalker started her design company in the 1980′s and has continues to produce her luxury brand locally. The PF Adagio Collection has been carried at Bergdorf Goodman’s for the last 25 years. Her decision to remain local and focused on a niche luxury market is key to her long-term success. Fieldwalker has never lost the focus needed for success of her luxury brand. She has never compromised the attention to detail and quality that accompany her label.

Vancouver Fashion Show presentations of Patricia Fieldwalker’s designs have been infrequent. Her show at VFW is rare treat. Silk chemise slips, robes, pyjamas, kimonos and caftans as well as signature bias cut gowns were paraded down the runway.

“It’s all about sensuousness, not erotica and S&M,” Fieldwalker says. “That whole notion is so demeaning. A sophisticated, intelligent man is not looking for a hooker. A little bit of subtlety is terrific. And silk pyjamas can be very sensuous.” Even by the time a woman turns 30, she suggests, let alone 60, she should be moving toward sensual and elegant. And with silk and lace, she says, “there’s a sensuous quality that’s timeless.”
