Cecile Rebagliati, designer of the Cecile Benac label has been designing knitwear in Vancouver for over a decade. Young men’s style is sometimes tough and usually personal.  In this case, it is about the accessories – “Knuckle Dusters,” and customized neck chains.   The was dog tag made in shop class and the bullets purchased at Crawford Coin Stamp Militaria, in New Westminster.  The Levis jean vest was once a jacket, till the sleeves were cut off.

Marc Jacobs’ ladylike designs for Louis Vuitton are retro fresh and a welcome return to the hourglass feminine silhouette. It is rare to see such a consistent silhouette but Marc Jacobs is strong and uncompromising in his presentation. Emphasis is on the waist and bust with full circle skirts dominating the collection. Corset tops, belted waists and fitted waistlines emphasize the new silhouette. Fabrics are structured and skirts are interlined. Substantive fabrics further reinforce the hourglass shape. Though fitted, the collection stops short of being constricting. Three-quarter length coats are tailored with a nipped in waistline, wider collar and lapels.
